Catherine Werner

Catherine has an MPA and recently retired from the healthcare field after 38 years with John Muir Health doing risk management, quality control and regulatory compliance.

“I am looking forward to serving my community and the Chamber as President and I am honored to collaborate with my fellow residents and the dedicated, passionate business owners in the community and those serving on the Board.  There are so many possibilities for growth and improvement ahead, so please join me in continuing the work already being done.  We are so much better together, so let us focus on what we can do in 2026.”

Lorna Padia-Markus

Lorna  is  a Principal  at Mowat Mackie & Anderson.  She recently became the new owner of  PJ’s restaurant, reopened in November, 2025.  Lorna has been an active member of the community for decades.  Her community activities include having served on the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Club.

Harry Weiner

Harry Weiner was appointed to the El Sobrante Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors in February, 2022.  He  serves as a Director on the West County Waste Water District Board. He is a twice elected member of the Board of Directors, Ward 4.  He moved from Occidental, CA,  7 years ago, with his wife of 46 years, Anita White.

“This community is unique in the East Bay and wonderful because of it.  I am on the Chamber Board to promote small business and town beautification, to enrich the lives of the people that live here.”

Beverly Wallace

Beverly Wallace was born and raised in Richmond, attended local schools, including Contra Costa College and San Francisco State. In 1997, she was elected to the West Contra Costa Healthcare District Board of Directors and  served until December 31, 2018.

Beverly continues to serve on many committees to improve the quality of life for the citizens in West County.  Beverly is the current Secretary for the El Sobrante Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
