Scott Tuffnell

Scott Tuffnell joined the chamber in 2000 as the owner/operator of Biancos Deli & Catering, and was voted Business of the Year in 2004.  He currently serves the community as President of the chamber board, a position he first held within the chamber in 2005.

Mark Croda
Vice President

Restoration Auto Body
Mark Croda's Town Garage has been a fixture in El Sobrante on San Pablo Dam Road for years and years. He recently sold his business to his foreman, and opened a new shop, Restoration Auto Body, to spend his time strictly on the auto body repair business, rather than all the various mechanical issues that cars suffer. The new shop is in the back, behind the Town Garage.
Bob Davis

Bob’s family moved to El Sobrante in 1962 and he graduated from De Anza Hi in 1969.  He graduated from Contra Costa Jr College with an AA in Social Science; Chico State with a BA in Economics and Golden Gate University with an MBA in Business Management.

Beverly Wallace

Beverly Wallace was born and raised in Richmond, attended local schools, including Contra Costa College and San Francisco State. In 1997, Beverly Wallace was elected to the West Contra Costa Healthcare District Board of Directors and will continue to serve until December 31, 2018.

Maurice Abraham

Maurice Abraham grew up in El Sobrante, and graduated from De Anza High School. He relocated to Silicon Valley, graduated from San Jose State University and enjoyed a successful career as an Urban Planning and Design consultant. After moving back to El Sobrante in 2003, he began immersing himself in local community affairs.

Marie Carayanis, resident of El Sobrante since 1963. She was co- owner for 30 years (1970-2000) of a local business in downtown El Sobrante, Nick & Marie's Delicatessen and Catering, and thus became active in representing the needs of business owners.

Martha Booz holds an M.A. in German Language and Literature, as well as a Ph.D. in plant physiology. She worked at Bio-Rad Laboratories for almost 25 years, in tech support, in marketing and most recently on Bio-Rad's web team, retiring in 2008.
